Hi. All my issues started when i recently moved and therefore had to connect my printer to new wife. I could not get it to connect. Now I am getting Error 11. I have tried resetting it and taking the cartridge out multiple times. It still says error 11. I was a HP smart ink customer and the cartridge came from that program, so it should work. i assume it wont because i cant connect to the Wifi, but I cant connect to the wifi because I can get past the error 11. To say this is frustrating is a massive understatement. Unless this is resolved, I will purchase another printer and I certainly will not be another HP. Not trying to be a jerk, but I run my own business and I just need my printer to work. Period.

Hi @frank9999999999,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check the Toner Cartridge:
- Ensure the toner cartridge is securely seated in the printer.
- Remove it and reinstall it to ensure proper placement.
Verify HP Instant Ink Cartridge:
- Ensure that you are using an HP Instant Ink cartridge if you are subscribed to the service.
- Check that the cartridge is correctly installed.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for 60 seconds, then plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Ensure your printer is running the latest firmware. You can download updates from the HP support website, selecting your printer model to access firmware updates.
Reconnect to New WiFi:
Make sure you have the new WiFi credentials properly configured. Use HP Smart or the printer's control panel to establish the connection:
- Open HP Smart App.
- Follow on-screen instructions to reconnect the printer to the new WiFi network.
- Go to Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
- Select your wireless network and enter the password.
I hope this helps.
