Hi,

My machine  is the officejet 7510 puchased October 2017.

The supplied cartridges lasted till Feb 2018.

Replaced with GENUINE hp XL cartridges the CYAN lasted till

Feb 2019 the two other colours and the black are comeing to the end of use.

My print habit is predominantly in BLACK and is set up for black print.

Like others I ask, WHY DO THE COLOUR CARTRIDGES DEPLETE BEFORE THE BLACK ?

Do you seriously expect us to accept that ink purges account for this waste ?

To try to combat unnecessary purges i do not switch the printer off.

I understand your concern and I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.

They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number.

Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.

 

Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

many thanks for your reply.

in response to the high levels of ink wastage.

i have in mind to buy ink from a reputable third party and accept your printers wastage levels of ink. that way i can at least mitigate my losses.

when the time comes i cannot see HP on my shopping list.

i guess its what you would call a home goal, congratulations HP.
