Hi @Smart20,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your printer is experiencing some connectivity or internal issues. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:

Restart the Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary glitches. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check Printer Connections: Ensure that all cables connecting the printer to your computer or network are securely plugged in. If you're using a wireless connection, make sure the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that the signal is strong.

Clear Print Queue: There might be a stuck print job in the queue causing the printer to appear busy. Go to your computer's printer settings, find the print queue, and cancel any pending print jobs.

Update Printer Drivers: Outdated or corrupted printer drivers can cause communication errors. Visit the printer HP website to download and install the latest drivers for your printer model.

Check for Paper Jams or Low Ink/Toner: Open the printer's access doors and check for any paper jams. Also, ensure that the ink or toner cartridges have enough ink/toner levels.

Reset the Printer: Many printers have a reset option in their settings menu. Refer to your printer's manual to find out how to perform a reset.

Update Printer Firmware: Like software updates for your computer or smartphone, printers also receive firmware updates that can fix bugs and improve performance. Check the printer HP website for firmware updates and follow the instructions to install them.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
