It's been a while since i initially set up my hp2655 printer. i don't have any of the setup materials anymore. I used to have no trouble with the machine but after moving and setting up an new internet connection, I can't seem to get it working again. Two problems (1) The power light is flashing and i cant get it to stop. (2) I accidentally removed it form my list of printers (Chrome operating system) and I need to know the printers IP address in order to reconnect. I don't know it.
please help me if you can.

@Berksont, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Connect the printer to the wireless network with WPS
-
Locate the WPS button on your router, but do not press it yet.
If your router does not support WPS, skip to the next step to connect the printer with the HP Smart app.
-
Turn on the printer. If the printer is in sleep mode, press the Cancel button on the control panel.
-
On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wireless button
for at least 3 seconds or until the wireless light starts to flash.
-
On the router, press and hold the WPS button for 3 to 5 seconds or until it shows that the WPS connection process has started.
-
Once the printer connects to the wireless network, the blue Wireless light on the control panel turns on solid.
To Obtain the IP Address, print a Wireless report
On the printer's control panel, press the Wireless button and the Information button
at the same time.
Both a Wireless Network Test Report and a Network Configuration Page print.
Let me know how this goes.
