Hello - I cannot get my HP Envy 7460 to print Google Slides in landscape. It prints in portait even when I select landscape in the printer settings. I am using HP Chromebook 14-q039wm with Chrome OS Version 51.0.2704.106 (64-bit) and I am connected wirelessly. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you, Tim

Hey @timo2,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! 🙂
I see that you're having an issue with page orientation when printing from your Chromebook to your HP ENVY 7640 e-All-in-One Printer. I'd like to explain why you're experiencing this issue and provide a workaround that may resolve this issue for you.
This orientation issue lies within the ePrint feature. The ePrint feature uses the ePrint email server to print, rather than printing directly. When you print from a Chromebook you don't have total control over the print settings. Google Cloud Print has the option for orientation changes, but it is not supported by the ePrint feature that your printer is utilizing. Making orientation changes will not be an option when printing from your Chromebook.
The workaround would be to print from a computer that supports the HP Envy Full Feature Software and Driver package, or to print from a mobile device that's connected to the same network as the printer with the ePrint App installed. The ePrint App allows you to print locally over a network without using the ePrint server.

Thanks very much. I understand and appreciate your explanation. However, it puzzles me that an HP Chromebook is not fully functional with an HP Printer. Not your fault, but still super frustrating. The workaround is a major inconvenience. Thank you nonetheless. Tim
