Worked good for 8 weeks, now when I try to print a page, receipt or what ever, it shows all the option print pages, shows the printer name , but nothing happens at the printer, if i ping the printer, it won't receive any of the date packs, the router receives all the the packets, I printed the HP Network Configuration Page, it showseverything enabled and connected.

Hey @jmichaelmcf,
I see that you are having some issues with printing from your Mac OSX 10.11 machine to your Officejet 5740 e-All-In-One Printer. I can help you with that.
To start, make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet and not a surge protector. Once done:
- Turn the printer and the Mac off.
- While the devices are powered off, remove the power cable from the back of the router for one minute.
- When the lights return on the router, turn the printer and Mac back on.
- On your Mac click on your Apple icon, System Preferences, and Printers and Scanners.
- Hold down the control key and click on the icon of your printer on the left.
- Click on Reset Printing System.
- Click on the plus button in the lower left corner.
- In the window that appears select your printer from the list.
- Click in the box next to Use and select your printer from this list.
Please let me know the results of following the above. If you are able to print, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.
