Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that you are getting 83C0000B error, I am glad to assist you.
You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.
To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
Cheers.

Hi, could someone at HP please share the solution to this problem.
I came into office this morning and found our printer showing 83C0000B
I have tried unplugging it for more than 5 minutes and it doesn't make any difference.
No buttons illuminated or visible anywhere.
Having googled this there seem to be lots of other users (> 100) who have had this happen to them in the last day or two so I think HP need to make the solution public and not just private message it.
Very disappointed that they can just remotely meddle with my device without my permission and leave it non functional.
Please Help ! ! !

Thanks Mistachris - I have tried this but as you can see from my picture - there are no buttons.
I have tried to guess where they might be and pushed that 4 times as you suggest, but I'm afraid it has absolutely no effect 😢
