Just come off a call with HP Support UK and they are aware of a global issue with this error but still no fix yet.

I too have the same problem. I have a mountain of work to do and print but can't do anything without this printer working. I would have expected some sort of acknowledgement from HP and a timescale to fix this issue, but I guess I'm expecting too much.

Same here, was out of office from 9th of Mai (evening) till today 11th of May (evening). Was welcomed by my HP OfficeJet Pro 9022e showing this 83C000B blue screen error.

 

So HP somehow remotely updates our printers firmware? Why no user input (accept / decline) is required for this?

 

No we have dead devices and daily work is heavily impacted.

 

Will call HP Germany on Friday but I fear the worst (support experience and no solutions).

 

Warranty tool shows "Expired" (bought on Amazon Germany on 28th of February 2022).

Thanks for posting, I understand your printer is showing an error code- 83C0000B. Not to worry, Let's try this out. I'd request you to perform a reset on the printer. Kindly do the following: 1) Turn on the printer, if it is not already on. 2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent. 3) With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the printer & wall. 4) Press the power button for 30 seconds. 5) Wait for 60 seconds. 6) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector. 5) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on. Note: To make sure the power source functions correctly, make sure the printer is plugged into an electrical outlet and not a power strip or surge suppressor.
