Hi @kkpb,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

I noticed that you're unable to copy or print from your HP Officejet Pro L7580 All-in-One Printer. I will certainly do what I can to assist you.

It sounds like one or both of the printheads are clogged, when the printer does not get continuous use the printheads can dry out.

First, please follow the steps within this guide:
If the problem persist and the cartridges aren't the problem. You may need to replace the printheads to resume printing.

If you have a defective ink cartridge or printhead, it might be under warranty. To check the warranty on your ink supplies, go to hp.com/go/learnaboutsupplies, select your country/region, then review the limited warranty information for your supplies.

The printheads for your printer are available at your local reseller or HP SureSupply page.

If the printheads are out of warranty you could try a manual printhead cleaning. Please use at your own discretion.

If you completed all the preceding steps and your product still has an issue, service the product.

Contacting HP for service in all countries/regions except Asia Pacific.
First, go to Check your product warranty to check your printer warranty status, and then go to Contact HP Support to find an authorized service dealer or to schedule a repair.
Repair fees might apply for out-of-warranty printers.
What you can do, is use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

Thank you for all the great information.

After trying several printhead cleanings and alignment reports, it still is not working.  I get great color on the tests, just no black, gray or yellow which leads me to believe it is the black/yellow printhead.   I will let you know the outcome if I decide to buy a printhead.   Thanks again.

I replaced the black/yellow printhead and the test page came out clean.  Hopefully this is the solution.  Many thanks for your help!!
