I need to reset the printer as I have forgotten the admin user/password.
I managed to semi-reset? and can connect directly to printers SSID to access 'Embedded Web Server'

@attinderdhillon If you've already completed the semi-reset, although, I'm not sure why you've mentioned that you've managed to semi-reset with a question mark, makes me wonder, is it done, is it not done, please do elaborate, that said, did you try the default user name and password? username: admin & leaving the password blank? did that work?
P.S: Welcome to HP Community 😉
Keep us posted,
And the answer to the above question will help me, help you!

Hi,
I think I have only managed to reset the 'network' I can connect directly to printer's ssid and access 'Embedded Web Server' but all other setting including the forgotten admin password seems intact.
username admin and password blank doesn't work.
Kindly provide steps to do a full factory reset.

@attinderdhillon I suggest you check my private message for steps on performing a full reset, the instructions are designed for your specific printer and if anyone with a different model would try the steps, it may render the printer unstable, hence a private message would be the safest way of sharing this information: Click here to know how the private message function works.
Stand by for updates!
And have a good day.
(P.S: If anyone wants these instructions for their specific printers, please create a public post and tag me, I'll be happy to help).
If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.
