 HP 1050: alignment page has printed, but the scanning step has failed. (Normal scanning is working)

I understand that you have been using an HP Deskjet 1050 All-in-One Printer and you're facing an alignment issue. I would like to help with that.

Hi Betty,

 

 

My problem is to do with the scanning stage of the alignment process: it’s the scanning that fails…the page printed without problem.

Right, I understand that. Did you perform the reset from the above document?

 

Also, are you able to make a regular copy? 

 

You may also try cleaning the scanner glass and try scanning the alignment page again.
