I went to us my HP Deskjet 2330 which I bought a while ago but never set up and I can't find the setup cartridges that came with the machine. How can I bypass the install the Setup Cartridges message.

I have no idea where the cartridges went. probably taken by my flatmate to use in their machine when theirs ran out. They have since moved on so can't get them back.

 

I have some new cartridges and expected that they would be accepted immediately but it seems that is not the case.

Can someone possibly reply to my own issue with Starter Cartridges?

Tried that. No dice.

 

Any other suggestions to get out of the "Insert Setup Cartridges" error? I just want to use my printer.

 

What about the "OOBE reset and re-initialize the printer".  suggested in the link to the above post by MSportPro?

Unfortunately, your Printer does not have that option.

 

I recommend you to contact the HP Support Team regarding this as this could be a hardware issue.
