Please help. Brand new cartridge. I did remove the plastic seal. It is genuine HP ink. Color works fine but black wont print or copy and it's what I use the most. Aggrivating.

Sorry it took so long to reply but every time I clicked the link for the print and scan doctor, it said the page could not load but, randomly, it started printing in black. I printed the first screen of our conversation, just on the off chance that it worked itself out and it printed fine so I tried a few other documents and all is good-to-go. Thanks so much for your help! I'll be sure to mark my problem as resolved. I appreciate you!
Cheers!

Still no help. The levels are full because the ink is genuine HP ink and it is brand new. The plastic tape is removed and I did not touch the copper colored tabs or nozzles. Unfortunately, I have windows 10 so the instructions for accessing the software weren't included in that link. I tried to follow the instructions for Windows 8 but apparently it's too different because I don't have the following options:
- In the printer software, click Print and Scan.
- Click Maintain Your Printer. The HP Toolbox opens.
- Click the Device Services tab.
- Click Clean Ink Cartridges, and then follow the on-screen instructions to clean the cartridges.
- After running the tool, click Print to print a test page. If the print quality is still unacceptable, follow the on-screen instructions to run aSecond-level clean.
I have no resolution at this time.
