Hi!
On 12.3.2020 we bought a HP-Envy 5032 printer. We installed the HP Smart program and was able to print wireless.
Two days later appearently Windows updated itself and we could not print anymore, not wireless, not with USB cable.
We get an error message in the right bottom corner for instance when we try to print a pdf document from HP Smart program:
Strangely, we can print out the reports from HP Smart and also, if we try to print from our cellphones (android), we can print wireless.
I have done the root "things" that you mention in every post, in other words, removed the printer, removed all the drivers and programs and restarted the computer and started all from scratch by installing everything again, but nothing helps. I have started to believe that there is something wrong with the drivers for the printer, something that doesnt work now with this newer version of Windows 10.
Now I also tried to make a new account on the computer and install the printer via that account but it works as before, nothing prints out. Worst printer I have ever owned 😞

@Anttoni Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you are unable to print.
Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.
Please perform the Clean reinstallation of Pre-installed HP drivers
1. In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2. Select your HP Printer
3. Select Uninstall
4. In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5. In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6. Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7. Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8. Click on the “Drivers” tab
9. Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10. Select Ok
11. Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12. Close Devices and Printers, restart the computer.
Click here to download the HP Full-featured driver.
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.

As I told you in the first message, I have tried that, based on what you have written in other cases, and it doesnt work with that solution. The problem probably is that Windows 10 updated itself and now the drivers arent working as they should. You really have to skip the HP Smart app, as that is the worst thing HP have ever made.
The printer was working from the computer before the update, so now HP have to make a driver that works with the Windows version. The printer also is working from Android, so the printer itself is not faulty, the drivers or software is.
When trying to print, I sometimes get the session into the print que, but then it dissappears by itself. Most often it however send me the error message that I mentioned in my first message.

I understand your concerns.
I would suggest you try the Windows built-in drivers for your Acer. Follow the steps below:
• Go to Control Panel - Devices and printers - Click on "Add printer" and follow the on-screen instructions.
• When the page prompts for the drivers, select "Windows update". The driver list will be updated.
• Click HP, Hewlett Packard, or Hewlett-Packard in the Manufacturer pane, and then click the name of your printer in the Printers pane.
Refer to this document HP Printers - Installing and Using the Windows Built-in Print Driver for help
Have a nice day!!
