So, my HP Envy 5052 all in one printer was unresponsive the other day. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, and the loading screen comes up, but it only loads two dots and then does nothing past that. I have left it for hours in that spot and it never moves past the first two loading dots. I have heard that I should try and take out the ink cartridges but I cannot get to them because they are off to the side of the printer, under a plastic bit. If anyone has any tips on how to fix this, that would be wonderful! 🙂

Hi @Allycat97
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the "power on" issue.
I understand you have tried the power reset already, but could you please try the power reset by following the steps below:
Reset the product
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
Turn the printer on, HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Could you also try a different wall outlet?
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi @MJAY90,
I appreciate you trying all the suggested steps, this is a hardware issue with the printer, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!
