I understand your HP ENVY 5055 All-in-One Printer is showing the error code 0xB83A3646. Let’s go through some steps to resolve this issue.

 

Power Cycle the Printer:

Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.

Wait 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

 

Check Ink Cartridges:

Remove all cartridges and reinstall them properly.

Make sure there is no protective tape left on new cartridges and they are seated firmly.

 

Check for Paper Jams:

Inspect the printer for any paper jams or small bits of paper that might be stuck.

Remove any obstructions carefully.

 

Clean Cartridge Contacts:

Use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with distilled water to clean the gold contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer.

 

Update Printer Firmware:

Visit the HP Support site to download and install the latest firmware for your ENVY 5055.

 

Reset the Printer:

On the printer, go to Setup → Printer Maintenance → Restore → Restore Factory Defaults.

Reconfigure your printer after the reset.
