Hi, I have a HP Envy 4520 (I think) printer that has been working fine, it sits in our bedroom out of the way, then it started to switch itself on during the night with the little screen being annoying, then suddenly started printing configuration pages at 2 am.  So I switched it off to stop the annoyance.  2 days later I needed to use the printer and switched it back on and the little screen on the front is just blue so looks like it has given up, looked up any ideas, and tried the disconnect the power source at the plug and printer, but no joy and after 3 weeks it is still the same if I switch it on. Any ideas on what could be the cause, I do not have it connected to any PC we just use it on the WiFi connection as that what it is advertised as being useful for. No it is just a dust gathering lump.

I managed to get rid of the blue screen failure by connecting my laptop via USB and mucking about until the HP Smart loaded and then I reset and all went well.

However I now keep getting the "Cannot connect to server" message and the blue screen issue is back, are the two related and how do I get rid of the message.  when the printer came back to life I printed fine, only the red does not work. Any ideas
