My printer has always worked fine via wifi from my Mac and suddenly it won't print. It always says Printing, then Looking for Printer, then Unable to locate printer. My wifi works fine and I have tried turning the printer on/ off, turning it's wifi connection on/ off numerous times over the last 2 days. When I checked the printer on System Preferences it says it's In use, Default when it's looking for the printer or Idle when it can't find it or I cancel the job so it knows it's there. Why aren't they connecting properly? How can I fix this, I desperately need to print for my work! Any help/ tips gratefully received, Nina

A warm welcome to HP Forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

I understand you need support and I'll be glad to help you out. However, for an accurate solution, I would need more details:

The wireless light on the printer, is it steady or is it blinking?

What's the make and model of your WiFi router?

Do you have any antivirus software installed on your Mac?

Do you have a guest network enabled on your WiFi router?

Approximately how far is the printer located from the WiFi router?

Could you check for WiFi interference and also perform a ping test using the Mac Network Utility and let me know the results. Use the printer IP address to perform a ping test, the printer IP can be located by touching the wireless icon on the printer display.
