My roommate installed a new TP-Link router and when I tried to connect my HP Envy 4520 to the new wireless network via the Wireless Setup Wizard the network is not showing up.

Thank you but I have restored the settings and when I look for available networks on the printer, mine does not show up even though the wifi is on and working (on my conputer and phone and roku). The network is not getting listed. Why would that be?

Did you turn the router off then on when you restored the network defaults on the printer?

For more info take a look at page 39 of the user's guide.

Is the network operating in 5.0 GHz network or 2.4 GHz. I don't think this printer supports 5.0 GHz network. If that is the case, it explains why the network is not showing up. In your router settings, there might be a way to turn on 2.4 Ghz network - make sure the 2.4 GHZ network has a different name.

While I am an HP employee, I am not a expert on all our products. If I offer advice, I'm not speaking for HP on how to solve an issue, but I'll do my personal best to help you.
