HP Envy 4520 all in one series won't print in color after I used the HP Smart App. I did click the color options to print color. Once I print it. it came out in black and white. The color ink cartidge is full so is the black ink too. I did everything by check the printing preferences and the advantage too. There is no color options for me to change it. It is just paper layout. My laptop had been update to Windows 11. I did everything by remove the printer device, uninstall the HP smart app. I did it all over and still same problems.
I tried to use my smartphone and it did print in color but not my laptop. Does it sound like I need to update my printer or is there any other way for me to print in color?
Here is the image that it show me on the laptop

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Does the copy print out the same way?
- Have you tried printing from a different application or device?
While you respond to that, let's try these steps:
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, and press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till the warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
And, also Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor: Follow the steps from the link: Click here
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
