My HP Envy 5642 worked great when I bought it to print wedding invitations. All of the sudden it started to not print some lines for anything, so the pages are missing parts of paragraphs, or a whole line of a picture, etc. Each time I try to align the pages it says it’s unsuccessful, so I’ve done both cleaning options, and tried to align again. I’ve replaced both ink cartridges and still have the same problem.

@Kalya1111, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Try making a standalone copy and check if the issue persists. If it does, then this could be a hardware issue with the printer.
Have you tried printing different types of documents and check if the issue persists?
Also, print a TEST page and check the print quality. Refer to this document to know how.
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
