The printer is a disaster.  Multiple failed set ups, prints blank pages, can't open the **bleep** thing to inspect cartridges.    The app is just as bad.  I hate this printer.

  • Ensure that you have removed any packaging material from the cartridges.
  • Run a printer alignment. If alignment fails, there might be an issue with the printhead or cartridges.

Can't Open the Printer:

  • Typically, you need to lift the top cover to access the cartridges. If you find it difficult to open, ensure that all the packaging tapes and materials have been removed.
  • Read the user manual or quick start guide for specific instructions about your printer model.

The HP Smart App Troubles:

  • Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app.
  • Check internet connectivity as app functionality often requires a stable network connection.
