I have one printer connected wirelessly to my network. It reports it's correctly connected. Nothing will print, not from any PC connected to the network and not from a phone trying to connect directly to the printer via wifi.
I have run HP Print and Scan Doctor. It has concluded "Your printer appears to have a serious issue. Click "Other Support Options" or "Next" to Continue".
Printer is mechanically sound as it will print a test page FROM ITSELF. However, PC reports it is "In an error state". Nothing will print, not even a test page. Can't print direct from a phone via wifi either.
Found a similar question asking how to factory reset, but annoyingly the HP support respondent gave the answer in a private message rather than on the board, so... can someone please respond?
I'll say the same as the other complainant - the next step is a new (non-HP) printer, I don't need this rubbish.

Hi @SonofRojBlake,
I'd like to help!
I understand you are receiving printer in error state when printing from computer.
To assist better-
- What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?
- I would like to know, is your router set to work on 2.4 GHz network or 5 GHz network band?
- Is the printer connected to home or public network ?
- Is there an antivirus software installed on your computer?
Keep me posted.
