My HP Envy Photo 7134 is stuck in the boot process. When I switch it on, it remains on the initial HP screen . I have tried to power it off with not success. There is no article on the HP SUpport page. Can anybody help me on this?

Hi @PAG62,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Envy Photo 7134 printer is stuck in the boot process, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.
- Power cycle the printer: Turn off the printer, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer, and wait for about 60 seconds. Then, reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.
- Check for any error messages: Look for any error messages or error codes displayed on the printer's control panel. This can provide valuable information about the nature of the issue.
- Perform a hard reset: Disconnect the power cord from the printer while it is turned on. Press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds. Then, release the power button and reconnect the power cord. Turn on the printer to see if it boots up properly.
- Update the printer firmware: Visit the HP support website and search for the latest firmware update for your specific printer model. Download and install the firmware update following the provided instructions. Firmware updates can often resolve software-related issues.
- Disconnect peripheral devices: If you have any external devices connected to the printer, such as USB drives or memory cards, disconnect them and then try to boot up the printer again. Sometimes, incompatible or faulty peripherals can cause booting problems.
- Reset the printer to factory settings: This step should be performed as a last resort because it will erase all personalized settings and configurations. Check the printer's user manual or the HP website for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
