Hi @fece,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP LaserJet M110w printer has a blinking orange light and you're unable to access the HP Embedded Web Server, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue and potentially reset it.

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on. Allow it to fully boot up.

Check for Jammed Paper:

  • Ensure that there are no paper jams inside the printer. Even a small piece of paper stuck inside can cause issues.

Check Toner Cartridge Installation:

  • Ensure that the toner cartridge is correctly installed. Open the printer cover, remove the toner cartridge, and then reinsert it firmly.

Verify Wi-Fi Connection:

  • Make sure your printer is connected to the Wi-Fi network correctly. You can check this on the printer's control panel.

Restart Your Router:

  • Sometimes, network issues can cause problems. Try restarting your Wi-Fi router or modem.

Hard Reset:

  • If the above steps don't work, you can try a hard reset of the printer. To do this:
    • Turn off the printer.
    • While the printer is off, press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button simultaneously.
    • Keep holding both buttons for about 10 seconds, or until the power light starts blinking. Release the buttons.
    • The printer should reset.

Factory Reset (if necessary):

  • If the above steps fail, you can perform a factory reset, but please note that this will erase all your printer settings. To do a factory reset:
    • Turn off the printer.
    • Press and hold the Wireless button and the X button simultaneously.
    • While holding both buttons, turn on the printer.
    • Continue holding the buttons until all the lights on the printer's control panel flash. This may take about 10 seconds.
    • Release the buttons, and the printer should reset to its factory settings.

After performing these steps, check if the printer starts working normally.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

hello

the toner is fine. there is no paper jammed and I'm able to print the status pages, which are other contradictory or confuse and doesn't match with the status on the app. it seems it is connected to the wireless.

only the factory reset have made the ! orange light stop blinking. it seems it is working now but the app keeps giving me a warning that i should add a password to my network, but it already has. how can i avoid having this issue in the future? honestly i regret buying an wireless printer. i have spent more time trying to make it work than actually using it.

thank you
