When I turn on my printer it has a blue screen that gives the error message B8088648. It does not warm up or make any noise it just goes to the blue screen of death. I unplugged it from the wall. I tried to remove the ink cartridge but they do not move over when I open that section of the printer up. Any idea of how to fix it?

Welcome to HP support community.
Perform a power reset
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector and printer.
- Turn on the printer.
If the printer turns on fine, update the printer firmware
