I lost the printing function connectivity a week ago. Possibly due to me trying to add an older HP Cad printer plotter to my selection of printers. So, based on general HP recommendations:
1- I uninstalled all HP drivers and software ( all-in-one) from my pc
2- unplugged he HP printer
3- reloaded HP drivers and software (all-in-one) from the HP website.
4- plugged in the printer.
I did this several times. Both with using the ethernet home network cable connections and also using direct USB cable to the printer.
Results:
1- I cannot print al all. either through the ethernet connection or using a direct usb cable.
2- however, I can Scan, fax through the HP solution center software on my PC
3- The printer itself is fine because I can print using other PCs in my home network.
So, I have tried everthing that I can think of. There is configuration , etc that I cannt figure out that my PC is preventing me from printing. Please help.

I did use the "HP Print and Scan Doctor" many times during my atempts to fix this issue. Here are my results that I get every time either with the printer hooked directly to USB or via wired ethernet:
-The "HP Print & Scan Doctor" shows that the Printer "HP OfficeJet Pro L7500 Series" is visible.
-selecting the printer and clicking "Next"
-Click "Fix Printing" action
-Next screen shows that all potential issues are OK:
-recommended updates- ok
-print spooler-pk
-driver check-ok
-device manager- ok
-device online-ok
-print queue-ok
-port match-ok
-device conflicts-ok
- so everthing shows all ok and green
-next do a test print. NO PRINT
-next do an internal test print. and it works ok.
- so then the 'HP Print and scan Doctor" suggest that there is a problem with the software and cannet be fixed by the tool and suggest that the software should be uninstalled and reinstalled. Yes, I did that several times and each time I get the same results whether printer is configured as USB direct or with wired ethernet.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
