Help community,
I have two printers of HP OfficeJet Pro 6830 which can not copy or scan
When you touch on copy or scan they make a sound, they both cant sense papers when inserted on the top tray for scanning.
Any solution or what might be the cause please?
Thank you

Welcome to the HP support community.
Check the scanner bar functionality: partially lift the scanner lid, and then press the Copy button or icon. If the scanner light does not illuminate or move across the glass.
Meanwhile:-
Perform a power reset
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
- Turn on the printer.
Update the printer firmware
Here are the steps:- Click here
I hope that helps.

Hello,
From from the task you said I should conduct, I carefully observed no action.
It didn't light, move or no anything apart from producing sound clicks
That was it.
When I disconnected the power as directed, it die the same.
It can load original copies from the upper feeder for scanning or copying.
What parts would I replace if it's hardware issues?
The printer software is updated to latest version.
