Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

This heavy duty printer although had it since 2007 but not used so much...has error code OXC18a0001and stopped working. Wondering if it can be repaired? I find it hard to throw out something so robust to buy something of inferior quality just because of some problem..surely they can be fixed or re-conditioned? Edinburgh Scotland
