Hi, how are you?
So I just purchased brand new, authentic HP ink for my Photosmart printer. It was working perfectly fine before purchasing the new black ink. However, now, anything that I print has horrible streaks and missing spaces. The diagnostic test has all of the color inks looking fine, with the black ink streaked. It has streaks only in the black ink, but regardlress of whether or not I print in black and white or color.
I followed all of the steps here: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02914910, including aligning the ink cartridges, running the diagnostic test, making sure the cartridge is vented correctly, etc. But nothing has helped at all.
Is there something that I'm missing here? I would love to get this fixed, especially since I just ordered all new ink cartridges!

I understand that your printer is printing black streaks and missing spaces.
Please try performing a hard reset on your printer. Make sure you plug the printer directly to wall outlet before performing a reset.
Refer to Wiki how website to perform hard reset: http://hp.care/2cDxtkm
After performing hard reset go to reports on your printer and select print quality reports and print the document.
And check if the issue still persists and you get the same black streaks.
If yes then it is a hardware issue you have to contact HP for service options.
If no then please post back to this thread it could be a software issue.
