This is the third HP Printer we've had in the last 4 years...why do we keep buying them? Because Costco sells them and I guess we haven't learned our lesson. Last one just stopped working...the issue today: Printer isn't connected wirelessly. Now there's some confusion there, because according to the LCD panel on the printer, it says its connected. According to the print utility deal that pops up when you try to print something...no connection. I tried to resetup the wireless, no help. Tried turning the piece of junk off then back on. No help. I don't use the printer that often, but I find that EVERY. SINGLE. TIME...there is an issue. I'm sick of HP (HUGE PILE I think is what it stands for) products. Make a product that prints reliably every time. Don't tell me I need to go to a wired connection. That's not a solution when I paid for a WIRELESS printer and expect it to work.

The OfficeJet 6962 is a $100 waste of money. It prints about half the time, and does not print on a smaller dimesioned paper correctly, even if the settings are for it to do so. I'd recommend just paying about $200 for a nice Canon instead of wasting time with these cheaply made rip offs.

I agree, the company stock has deteriorated along with their printers. I recent bought two at Wally World and they do nothing but infuriate me. Their primary function is to make you waste ink, paper and time. The first printer I bought was a 712C fairly decent and set a standard but now their standards are in the toilet with everything being made as cheaply as possible  by the Chinese. It worked fine for a  long time but the ink cartridges were being priced to such an extreme level that I had to buy a newer model.  The newer model had no stand by so I have to run over to press the power button so I can a watch the printer malfunction up close. I think the Canon brand is much better but still plays the same ink cartridge [edit].DeskJet1000.jpg

I couldn’t agree more with others here. HP is riding on past reputation and their printers are complete junk. Please don’t waste your hard earned money. Buy something else. It’s disgustingly bad!!
