Hello All,
I have a HP 5740 all-in-one & am having trouble adding it as a device in either the HP Utility, Mac OS or iOS. I set it up when I first bought it with no problems, but am now having trouble connecting. I do have a new router as of maybe 4 or 5 months ago that has Dual Band, 2.4 & 5 Ghz. I have the Printer on the 2.4 Ghz, but all my other devices run on 5 Ghz. I've attemed to try & connect when connected to the same 2.4 Ghz network, as well. The printer does show up on my router along with all other devices with no problem.
I've tried to add the printer both through the HP Utility & the Mac OS "Print & Fax" menu, but I can't get any devices to show up in the lists. The HP Utility just spins & spins. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling the latest drivers. I've also tried Control Clicking in the Mac OS menu & resetting all my printer settings. I've also had trouble connecting on an iPhone through the AiORemote App. I got it to connect once, but only for about 5 min.
The most suprising thing is on another computer that still had the old install, it can still print, but can also not see the printer in the HP Utility or the Mac OS Ultility. That computer is on OSX 10.11.
I'm at a loss on how to get the printer to show back up on the individual computers, so any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi@ckyll,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I have read your post and understand that you are unable to find the printer over network. Is that, right?
I recommend you to try the steps from the link below and check if that solves the issue.
If the above solution doesn’t work, try resetting the printing system on your PC and check if that helps you solve the issue.
