Hi, I was really like my HP 5740 printer. But yesterday after i changed HP 62 Tri-colour Ink Cartridge, align print head unsuccessful, and printer is not print cyan, i press clean cartridge many times try and try but still the same. One colour missing from the Tri color. Today I bought new paper put in printer try again, but still no cyan.. totally no idea now.
Please help. i need print some important document. Thank you!

Thank you for your reply. I definitely use Genuine HP Cartridges. It purchased from Post office Hurstville.
Today I already returned it to the post office exchange for a new tri colour ink. I lost my receipt because I didn't expect this situation will happen. But the staff is very helpful. I installed the new ink and now is ok. I love my printer again now!
So that is a defective colour ink. Post office staff said this is first time they found HP defective ink return. I am just not very lucky.. I wasted a lot A4 paper for test print again and again.
Come back here for let people with same problem know, stop waste paper. It could be solved if you go exchange your ink. But please bring the defective ink and test print report with you. If you still have receipt bring it with you too.

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that after replacing the color cartridge you are no longer able to print in cyan. I would like to help you resolve this issue.
It could very well be the new cartridge.
Are you using Genuine HP Cartridges?
