HP 7610
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Have used my HP 7610 successfully to print all sort of things, including VERY high quality photographs.  I've used only HP cartridges (color, black); brand new set installed. Use high quality paper, including HP Advanced Photo Paper, and high quality paper stock.  Went through all procedures with HP Scan / Print Doctor.  Cleaned heads, through third level.  Alignment is crisp and sharp, but color is very badly off.  Looks like it's not printing Cyan.  Checked for software updates; nothing available, since I keep it updated.  Tried the Microsoft solution -- turned it off, turned it back on.  Did it in sequence with my PC (Dell Optiplex desktop) after I updated the software.  Still no improvement.  Anybody else run into this?  Got any insight or suggestions?

If you've another set of cartridges, do try those.

@Hawkeye0907

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Does the same happen with copy too? Have you tried all the steps from here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-7610-wide-format-e-all-in-one-series/5153788/model...?

Let me know if this helps.

Thank you for your reply.  Yes, same results when copying.  YELLOW looks reasonably good, and MAGENTA comes through, but It's like the CYAN is not printing.  Green on original comes out sort of reddish on copy or print.   Fonts come out razor sharp, and the BLACK is perfect.

I've been through all the trouble-shooting steps (twice, actually!) with no improvement; even re-loaded the driver software.  This has been a fabulous printer for a number of years, and I always use HP cartridges, high quality copy paper, and HP Advanced Photo Paper.  Only twice in 15,000+ pages did I have a rare case of a bad HP cartridge.

Got any other ideas?

Thanks again for the help.  I don't think my reply posted.  Those were brand new cartridges that were bad.  Will HP replace them?

HP Recommended

They might if they are under warranty. You can contact the HP Support Team regarding it.
