My printer keeps printing out an inappropiate ad for something that I have never heard of and it has been doing it randomly all day long, even when we are not printing anything. There is a supposed phone number on the back side of the page that you can call to "unsubscribe, but when I try to look it up, it just has too many numbers. It is disturbing and unsettling to say the least. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them?

Hi:
Apparently over the last few days, a hacker was able to print from many printers, not just HP.

@Pallos, you should disable UPNP on your router if it is unabled.

@Tracychef1, did update the printer firmware?
Are you running the latest firmware on your router?
If UPNP is enabled on the router disable it.

@8lives, the printer has been updated, unstalled, reinstalled so many times, I can't even count. I'll disable UPNP now and see if that works. Interesting that in at least 20 phone calls, HP has never suggested that.
