As per subject; I refilled them, but the cartridge, due to the onboard chip, does not allow me to print it.

I know why this happens and how this works, but I'm aware - correct me if I'm wrong - that after 2010 HP allows customers to turn off the ink level monitor. How can I do this?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

That would not be possible. Would recommend you to use an HP Genuine ink cartridge to see if it prints.

I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Hi Betty,

this is not acceptable. I have ink in my cartridge, and I don't want to have to buy more at extortionate prices. Why is the printer refusing to print even though it is clearly capable to do so? Please advise.
