How do I change the paper orientation- from landscape to portrait and vv.I know how to change paper

I understand you are not able to change the paper Layout settings on your iPad. Not to worry, I'll be glad to help you out. However, for an accurate solution, I would need more details:

What type of document are you trying to print. Eg: PDF, text, photos?

Have you tried printing using AirPrint?

What's the paper type/size that you are using?

Thanks for the reply.

I do use air print from iPad Pro .I print all types of files including photos, jpegs,webpages .My paper size is A4.My other hp envy printer has a better interface where it’s easy to change every aspect of the process.

Any advice welcome.

You are welcome!

AirPrint does not have the option to change the Layout settings. However, you may use HP Smart App to change the Layout settings. You may download  and install HP Smart App from here.

Hi Senanayake, I already have the HP app installed but cannot see where I can change the paper  orientation as indicated in my first email.I can see where to change the paper size but there is only the portrait option for A4 size.

I have checked the option for HP Smart App on my System and I had the option to change the orientation

I would request you to send me a screen shot or picture of the options you see when trying to print from Smart App

I am finding it completely amazing that this forum is echoing my previous experiences with HP Support. How did you answer the question in any way? I also have the HP Smart App open and cannot see how to change the page orientation. How is this not clearly explained, KrazyFrog? I am very disappointed, and I find it very stupid that there is no follow up. Wow, I have have tried for 10 years and even the tiniest thing..

Hey anyone else in this situation—there are not layout settings. You have to rotate the image and work from there. Such nonsense
