Windows updated my computer and when it did my printer no longer worked. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it. I had a lot of problems but now my printer is working fine. However, HP Installer set up keeps popping up. I've told it no and cancel, I've done als, control, delete and ended the task in task master but it still pops up about every 10 seconds. It has made our computer useless. How do I get it to quit.

Thank you for joining HP Forums.
I'll be glad to help you 🙂
As I understand you need information on ending the HP Installer setup,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Is this the HP Support Assistant you are referring to?
(if it isn't and/or if it isn't, please send a screenshot of the popup)
Have you attempted to reinstall the software creating these issues?
While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:
Use Windows key + R, Type - Services.msc
Press OK and look for Windows installer on the list,
Right-Click and select properties > Startup type > change it to manual and then, under service status, Click Stop and then Start, Click Apply and OK.
Then, go to task manager and disable that program from the services list. (Use Windows + X key to select it from the list)
Keep me posted,
If the information I've provided was helpful,
give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.
