Product: HP ENVY Photo 7855
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

Having had the 4th HP ENVY photo 7855 printer in 2 years --- using Instant Ink --- its history of 'misbehaving' has pushed me to the point of wanting start all over, i.e., set it to 'Factory Default' settings --- before 'puting it out of its misery'. Please tell me how.  Thanks, Enod.

    Please also tell me where to look for your answers.

@ENOD Greetings from the HP Community!

Resetting to factory defaults may not be the answer to your troubles as you will have to setup the printer connection and its settings from scratch, if you know what I mean! That said, I could help you resolve the issue at hand and we can go from there, 

Although, if resetting is what you need, try the below steps from the user guide:
