I had a paperjam, took out any paper I saw, took out the tray, took out and popped back the cartridges, checked for spilled ink, dapped off some excess ink on the little green thing by the cartridges, moved them manually left and right. The error message of carriage jam persists and it sounds weird inside.

 

They seem to hit a bump on the far right side when it tries printing and it has a hard time going back from the far right side. I also hear a weird clunk noise when it tries printing but the inside looks normal, nothing wrong or leaking. I can include a picture if needed.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Carriage jam or E3 error and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
