I am getting a 49 error on my printer. The network connect does not work. I cannot connect to the printer via USB cable either, my computer never finds the printer.

I had a power outage that seems to have taken out a network switch I had. I am not sure if this is related but I think the time frame is in line with that outage.

If you have no USB or network connection then it is likely that the formatter is damaged. The only thing left would be to perform a full reset. Check YouTube as there are videos that show the steps for a reset.

Repairatrooper,

Thank you so much!!  I had to do the HARD reset, which was a button combination of the right arrow and red "X" for a certain period of time. Then I just had to remove and add the "new" printer again.  Thank you again!!
