Deskjet 2652. Cartridge #65. Comparable in mexico?

@Pippin3 Did you relocate to Mexico from some where else, if yes, we may need to perform a regional reset and you can use the appropriate cartridges,

If not, here's the list of cartridges designed to work on your printer:

I purchased the printer new deskjet 2652 in mexico at a major department/grocery store. It came with #65 start up cartridges which now need to be replaced. It says  in the cartridge compartment it uses #65. Not available here. Neither are #123. Seems strange I cannot use my brand new printer once the start up cartridges run dry.

@Pippin3 I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:

 

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

 

Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,

Neither of your suggestions will work. Entering the serial number tells me the warranty has expired. Trying to pm you does not work. I am in mexico .

@Pippin3 In that case, If you have an HP authorized service center near by, you should be able to take it to them and have it checked,

Incredible that I can buy a brand new printer here in mexico and not be able to buy the proper ink cartridges making the printer useless. HP never ceases to disappoint.
