The machine won't be used until after Xmas so how do I get a code number with out plugging the machine in and using it... When its a present I didn't really want to be doing that

I'm afraid, you can't get the code without plugging the printerin.

Don't worry about it, you can set up the printer with the cartridges which are inside the box so you can use it on christmas. :OpenSmile:
