I canceled instant ink and removed instant ink cartridges.  Now each time I print I receive a message to connect to instant ink.  How do I stop the pop ups?

Hi @RedmonAC, I am happy to help!

Are the pop ups appearing on the computer or on the printer itself? What type of HP Printer do you have?

In the meantime, please try the following steps:

1. Remove all the cartridges.

2. Close the ink cartridge door.

3. With the printer turned on unplug the power cable from the back of the printer and wall outlet.

4. Wait 1 minute.

5. Plug the power cable into the wall outlet first then into the printer.

6. The printer will turn on automatically wait for the noises to stop.

7. Open ink cartridge door only put in non-Instant Ink cartridges.

8. Try printing again.

I have an HP OfficeJet 4650, all in one.  The message pops up on the printer's screen and the printer sends a message to my computer.

I followed the steps you suggested and the message appeared on the printer as soon as I inserted the new cartridges.

Thank you
