Hello,
I have just purchased a 304XL ink cartridge for my printer that usually takes 304 ink cartridges. I was told when i purchased this that its compatible. However after try it make it work i feel that i have been ripped off as the orange light just flashes as it doesn't recognize the cartridge. I have tried everything for the last 2 days. I have uninstalled in reinstalled it, turned the power supply out for 60 seconds. reinstalled the last cartridge. Nothing works, does this mean that the cartridge is faulty and i am £26 out of pocket with a full ink cartridge that doesn't work or is not compatible. Any help or advice would be helpful as i home schooling 2 young children but unable to print off their school work.

@DAWLISH2020 Nothing to worry about, I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options of getting the cartridges replaced,
follow the below steps to get started:

3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!
Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,
