I have tried two sets of brand new HP ink cartridges and spent over $200 on ink and all my printer will tell me is Incompatible Ink Cartridges. This is so frustrating!!!! My firmware is up to date. The HP virtual assistance sends me to dead links. I need help!

The code on HP8600 series 950 and 951 cartridges has to be Z10.
Where did you purchase this ink? Please read this, because the fix is discussed.
PS: I have an 8620. It is about 4 years old.

@tcody2484- search for HP Smart and open it, if your printer is not listed click the plus sign and add it.
Double-click the printer icon and click on Supported Cartridges.
What zone is listed as Installed at the top, and what zone is listed as Supported, at the bottom of that dialog?

My cartridges were all Z10 and genuine HP. After spending all day trying to get this resolved, I was finally told by HP Tech support to throw the printer away. Unbelievable!! I used one set of cartridges and tossed it. This printer was only 2 years old. I hope Xerox buys you all out. Terrible. Just terrible.
