Product: Deskjet 3776
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

I am receiving the message incompatible cartridge after moving countries.  After checking the HP website I purchased the compatible cartridge for my new country but I believe I now have to have the printer reset?  Does anyone know how to contact HP directly to have this done, I keep getting sent in circles around their website and the virtual assistant is no help.

Hi,

Is it an HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3776 printer? as a Deskjet 3700 and Deskjet Ink Advantage 3700 are different printers, which do not use the same cartridges.

As much as I aware HP 652 are not available in Western European countries such as France, but the local HP support will be able to provide you the most accurate options.

 

I suggest contacting HP Support in France via Facebook by sending a private message and explaining that you moved from another country, be sure to provide your exact printer model for an accurate response:

I originally purchased the printer in Thailand and I am now in France. I have purchased cartridges 652 which should be compatible according to the HP website.

Yes it is a 3776 Deskjet Ink Advantage.  I double checked the HP site before ordering the cartridges and I have definitely ordered the correct cartridges as per the information provided https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-deskjet-ink-advantage-3700-all-in-one-printer-series/8949779...

I will contact the french support as suggested.  Thanks for providing that link.
