Hp 8610 all-in-one printer
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Just venting, i am an old, retired school teacher and now run a small 501 c 3 educational non-profit. I have done everything suggested to get this 8610 printing again thru removing and replacing printhead 3 times. I always use hp ink, even tho it costs more. Just spent $72 yesterday to buy 3 color cartridges at Walmart. Tried that printer & scan doctor and it doesnt work on this hp laptop elite book. Spent years buying, using, and recommending hp computers and printers and with less than 3 years use and maintaining this printer, i truly resent needing to buy another printer. So disgusted!!!!!

Hi Asmita, thank you for your interest. This has been very frustrating for me after decades of buying, using, and recommending HP printers and computers. I must have a printer so bought an HP this morning at your store. I appreciate the starter ink and the free shipping, which saves me a trip to Waxahachie or Ennis. I did spend all day Sunday trying to get this 8610 to work, esp because the black ink cartridge is almost full and i just installed three color cartridges i bought at Walmart in Ennis Friday. I know i would have saved a few dollars had i ordered the 8610 color ink from your store, but i was concerned about leaving the empty cyan in the printer till i received in the mail from you all. When i started teaching for Dallas ISD in 02-03, i bought a 1300 and replaced it three years later with the 1350. I got it to print a bit the other day after installing new cartridges in it. But, printing was faint and i need a good printer. Looking forward to receiving the one i bought this morning. Thanks again for your interest. I have accepted that items are just not made as well these days as when i was growing up. I bought a cheap printer and will plan to replace it in about 3 years.
