HP Officejet 5258
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased HP Officejet 5258 assuming I can enroll in Instant Ink. Is this printer not eligible? Will choosing Officejet 5250 series be okay for 5258?

As you have mentioned in your post that you have purchased a OfficeJet 5258 printer and this printer is not listed in the list of eligible printers. However, this printer falls under HP OfficeJet 5250 Series, so you can choose HP OfficeJet 5250 Series while enrolling your printer.

Here's the list of eligible printers: HP Instant Ink-eligible printers

Your answer is/was a bit vague.  The 5258 does or does not quailify for the instant ink program?  If I understand your answer, it is in the 5250 series and there does qualify?  Please clarify.

Thank you for posting your query on HP Support Community,

As I understand you have purchased HP OfficeJet 5258 printer and trying to enroll into the Instant ink program but for some reason your printer is not listed.

In such scenario, As your printer falls under the same series as of OfficeJet 5250, you can choose this printer and continue enrolling your printer.

I hope this information helps. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help you.

Take care and have a great day ahead!
