The printing problem on the HP8600 whereby it prints really small is very frustrating. When are HP planned by to update the drivers please?

I have tried all the solutions mentioned in other posts but the real solution is to update the driver.

I have now seen a suggestion to update to iOS 11.3 and so far it works. Thank goodness for that. Thanks to apple/Hp for finally sorting..

Splendid effort and fabulous description of the issue before posting. Kudos to you on that score. You are a valued HP customer and it is paramount to assist you here. I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you.  

 

Let's try installing the HP Smart app (Previously HP AiO Remote app) to print from your iOS device. Go to Apple Store and install the HP Smart app on your iOS device.

I found a wonderful document which will give you instructions on how to use this app. Please go through the steps here: http://hp.care/2sl1E5V 

 

I cannot make any speculations when the updated software would be released either by HP or Apple. However, your valuable feedback is very much appreciated.

As mentioned on other replies this offers limited hope but not for example printing emails etc.

The only proper solution is an Hp update and this needs to be escalated ASAP. I have always been a loyal HP customer but this total inability to use my printer with such a mainstream interface as Apple is completely unacceptable.

You should be contacted within 4 business days (Excluding Holidays & Weekends).

Hi Guys,

 

i would urge urge users of Apple Devices who are having printing issue with HP 6800 Printers  to update their Apple Devices to iOS 11.3.  This update has solved the printing issue on my HP6800.  

 

 

I did did not have to make any changes to my printer.

I have tried all the suggestions over the last months since ios11.? and nothing worked. Recently I had to upgrade

my router / modem and When my printer was setup to recognise it an update of the printer software downloaded

(wifi) I had downloaded by direct PC connection but still the problem was there so maybe just in the last few days HP 

has an effective update or it was lack of wifi signal strength... Now it works,

I was always able to print correctly to my HO8630
